This coming 9th December, 2013, the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State,Nigeria, will be shaken to its foundation as world class artistes storm the town to grace what is being tagged as the mother of all concerts in honour of the governor of the state, Dr. Godswill Akpabio, as he turns 51 years old on that day.
Tagged ‘51 Artistes for Godswill Akpabio @51’, the concert is put together by award winning Video Jockey, Asteroid Bassey, the man behind Muzik Alive, the very successful and longest running musical program on the state radio, Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC.
The show, according to Asteroid, is packaged to celebrate the Governor who has uncommonly transformed Akwa Ibom State through infrastructural renaissance. SEE MORE AFTER CUT>>>>
Among Artistes who have signed up for the event are dance hall sensation, Pasto Goody Goody, Presh of the former KC Preshgroup, Mista Xto, Icekid, Dj PJ, Comedian Sir James and Mish of ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaiya’ fame. Akwa Ibom born Nollywoodactors, Moses Armstrong and Ime Bishop Umoh (Okon Lagos), will lead other Nollywood celebrities to the glamorous event which will hold at the Sheer Grace Arena.
it was also disclosed that the event is an open one where all supporters and admirers of the Governor and lovers of good things are free to come and felicitate with the man of the moment.
