Hulu.com Now Prevents VPN Users From Accessing Its Content

Hulu is not currently available outside the U.S. If you’re in the U.S., you’l need to disable your anonymizer to access videos on Hulu.
Unfortunately, this measure is also capturing US users who simply want to protect their privacy, going by Hulu’s own support forums. It appears the company is addressing these on a case-by-case basis. SEE MORE AFTER CUT>>>>
National Conference: Call For True Federalism & Other Matters Seek Extension.
The National Conference Committee on Political Restructuring and Forms of Government have all agreed that the SouthEast zone should be at par with others. The Southeast has five states; others zones have a minimum of six states. Jubilant Southeast delegates praised the magnanimity of the Committee. The Committee also adopted a simplified procedure if states wish to merge. Members of the Committee were unanimous in supporting the creation of additional state for the SouthEast. But Senator Nimi Barigha-Amange warned that the creation would lead to a deluge of demands from other parts of the country. This, in his view, may be difficult to manage at the critical stage. He said the viability of additional states should be considered as only five could be said to be viable of the 36 states. He said fiscal federalism would put a stop to agitation for state creation.
Senator Ahmed Aruwa said the Southeast demand is legitimate as the request had been on for long. States, he said, should be created where necessary in line with conditions spell out in the Constitution. SEE MORE AFTER CUT>>>>>

How Much Did Facebook Acquire Whatapp?
It was an inauspicious beginning for the most ridiculous internet purchase since the last dot com bubble, Facebook's $19 billion acquisition of Whatsapp.
Facebook acquired WhatsApp, a company with at most $300M revenues, and 55 employees, for $19billion. That’s billion – with a “b.” An astonishing figure that is second only to HP’s acquisition of market leader Compaq, which had substantial revenues and profits, as tech acquisitions. $19B is 13 times Facebook’s entire 2013 net income and almost 2.5 times Facebook’s 2013 gross revenues.
On the mere face of it this valuation should make the most dispassionate analyst swoon. In today’s world very established, successful companies sell for far lower valuations. Apple is valued at about 13 times earnings. Microsoft about 14 times earnings. Google 33 times. These are small fractions of the nearly infinite P/E placed on WhatsApp. SEE MORE AFTER CUT>>>>>

Aftermath Of Nyanya Bomb Blast: Military Checkpoint Causes Traffic Gridlock
After the Nyanya bomb blast which occurred on Monday April
14th, which killed over 80 people, military checkpoints have
been mounted at various strategic
road junctions to check human and vehicular activities in the FCT. Motorists/workers say these checkpoints have become a big problem for them as they lose many useful hours in traffic with some
of them getting late to work and receiving queries. According
to a report on Channels TV, residents in Abuja say their fear is in the
manner in which the military men carry out their search operations.
They say the traffic opens them to a possible attack from Boko Haram men
who can take advantage of the gridlock and strike
again. They pleaded with the military to seek more effective
ways to carry out their search.
