JACK BAUER flew into the country yesterday. He was accompanied by his IT Expert CHLOE O’BRAIN. The duo arrived at international wing of Muritala Mohammed Airport at about 17:45 local time with Delta Airline Flight No 777. They were both received by the State Security Service (SSS) spokeswoman, Marilyn Ogar and National Security Adviser (NSA), Gen. Owoye Azazi, after which they immediately left for Abuja on Nigeria Airforce plane Dornier Do 27. Jack Bauer (born 18 February 1966) an American serviceman and later, a federal agent was responsible for saving countless American citizens from potentially devastating terrorist attacks on many occasions.
He took a leadership role in various covert and undercover missions, and served as both Special Agent in Charge and Director of Field Operations of CTU Los Angeles.
He is in the country to coordinate the operations of the Joint Task Force (JTF) to uproot the Boko Haram insurgency. He is expected to be briefed by the present Commander JTF Major-General Jack Okechukwu Nwaogbo on the situation update. However, reliable source have it that members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect have been seen fleeing to Somali as the news about Mr Bauer arrival filtered in Maiduguri as most of the sect sold their weapon to generate funds for their relocation. While member that could not afford to move to Somali have been reported to have re-enrol back to school. In fact news has it that some members of the sect have been seen at beer parlow all in the guise to blend with the environment while others were sighted wazam quarters shaving their beards. It is also reported that some member are already in a secret negotiating for amnesty with the Borno state Governor.
Meanwhile, Abu Zaid, the spokesman for Boko Haram has denied the allegation that members of the sect are on the run and claimed that they will resist and fight Mr Bauer with the last drop of their blood as he claimed that this will be climax of their struggle.
