Some New Reports from Chibok, Borno State indicates that a mother of one of the abducted schoolgirls has identified her daughter in the video released yesterday by the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau demanding the release of captured Islamic militants. The mother identified her daughter among the scores of schoolgirls kidnapped from the Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok on April 14. She spotted her daughter among the girls sitting on the ground and wearing veils, said Dumoma Mpur, parent-teachers association chairman at the school. “The video got parents apprehensive again after watching it but the various steps taken by the governments and the coming of the foreign troops is boosting our spirit, even though I have not seen the any one soldier in Chibok yet,” Mpur reportedly said.
