Enugu state Governor: Sullivan Chime Returns After 140 Days

Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime this morning arrived Nigeria, from aboard on a British Airways flight, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, after 140 days of absence from office.
It was confirmed that the governor arrived Abuja on and went straight to the Enugu State Governor’s Lodge in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

It was also gathered that the governor was received by family, friends and well-wishers.
The governor had been reportedly admitted in a hospital in London for an ailment that has generated a lot of discussions within and outside Enugu State.
He was recently visited by his colleagues, from Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Benue State, Rotimi Amaechi, Godswill Akpabio and Gabriel Suswam. Akpabio announced on their arrival that Chime should be in the country by Sunday.
Following their visit, Mr Akpabio had said in Lagos on Friday that Mr Chime would return home within 10 days.
