EbonyLife TV is led by Mo Abudu of ‘Moments with Mo’ fame. Mo Abudu’s latest entertainment venture, EbonyLife TV launches in a few days (the 1st of July,2013) on Dstv channel 165. The past few months have seen various parties involved hard at work on developing original content for the burgeoning TV Network, which aims to “change everything you know about Africa.” It’s an up coming TV Channel that has got tongues wagging for months. We have heard of the reality show with kate Henshaw and three other actresses, we have also heard that Dolapo Oni has moved from 53 Extra to join Mo as presenter and that Banky W and Tiwa Savage will be handling a show on the station. Moguls who have significant influence in media, entertainment, business, political and economic landscapes on the African continent are set to be honored at a soon-to-hold event which has been described as potentially one of the biggest and most prestigious events in Africa in the year 2013.The event holding at Tinapa Resort, Calabar, Cross River State, will celebrate important personalities who wield significant influence in Africa.The landmark event is the launch of EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first global black entertainment channel which is scheduled to hold on Sunday, June 30, in Lagos.The awards, coming after months of intense research and a thorough verification exercise by Forbes, is being put together by EbonyLife TV and will be presented by none other than Mr. Steve Forbes of Forbes Media, world renowned establishment which has become an insignia of distinction across the world for recognizing worthy business decision-makers, investors and progressive individuals for making real impact around the world by stimulating business growth, spearheading innovation, creating employment and influencing great change in the economy of the world, or of their nation.
