In a recent interview this Nollywood superstar Joke Silva talked about her lack of cooking skills and other ways she takes care of her husband, screen legend, Olu Jacobs.."I have never lied about this, I have never been 'a doing the cooking kind of woman'. When my husband met me, he knew. He was the one who used to do the cooking because he is good at it. I used to do the cooking when I felt like. Sometimes, it comes out to be a huge success and sometimes a failure. Some years ago, I cooked vegetables and it was terrible and my husband is such a gem, he ate it like that. It is not as if my mum didn't teach me. For my husband, cooking is a therapy and for me it is a chore and yet he will always tell you that I look after him so much, I do that in other ways. We have somebody who does the cooking. I have taught them to cook the way I like and we have people who do the general cleaning."

Some Iranian women are posting photos of themselves without the hijab on a new Facebook page launched to share “stealthy” moments of freedom from the veil.

The page – which has accumulated more than 132,000 likes in just a fortnight – features Iranian women joyfully revelling without their headscarves.

It was set up by Masih Alinejad, an Iranian political journalist based in the UK, “My hair was like a hostage to the government. The government still has a lot of hostages.”

Wearing the hijab has been compulsory since the 1979 Revolution and the lack of it is punishable by fines, imprisonment or lashes.

Dolce & Gabbana Cut Guilty Of Tax Evasion

The Creative Directors of D&G, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been found guilty of tax evasion to the tune of $1.3bn. The alleged crime is said to have been a result of the sale of their Dolce & Gabbana and D&G brands to the Luxembourg-based holding company Gado Srl in 2004. Dolce & Gabbana have always denied the charges and promptly appealed last year's decision with their legal representative. But the appeal has been denied and both men are now facing prison time.The verdict was announced this afternoon after hours of consideration by a three-judge panel who decided to uphold last June's guilty verdict that saw the designers both sentenced to 20-months in prison for allegedly committing tax evasion, Vogue UK reports.
