Glee’ actor Cory Monteith has been reported dead. The 31-year-old was found dead at Noon on Saturday, July 14, 2013 at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in downtown Vancouver.His publicist Melissa Kates confirmed the sad news. ‘We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss’, Kates told USA Today. Word has been spreading that Monteith had passed away due to an apparent drug overdose. ‘An autopsy is scheduled for Monday’, said Vancouver Acting Police Chief Doug LePard in a press conference.
Monteith rose to fame when TV series Glee debuted in 2009.
